The picture above was taken at our home. Meet my two boys, Jack and Levi. You may see them helping out from time to time as they have many of the same interests as their dad. Also meet our Sugar Maple, It was planted 12 years ago and is routinely pruned and cared for. I still remember the sense of pride I had the first time I was able to climb it, recalling the day I dug it’s hole and staked it’s flimsy trunk.

I like the picture above and it reminds me that raising good trees is a lot like raising good kids, not done all at once but a little at a time, throughout a lifetime.
